It was the middle of January 2024, we had just loaded the Chrysler Grand Voyager with all the gear we were taking to Scotland, by way of Germany to stop off at Jutta´s mums for a couple of weeks on the way. We piled ourselves and our cat PusPus into the car and headed off on the 1615 miles 1st half of our trip. We had a good trip, but we had found a lump on PusPus´s shoulder and decided to take her to the vet we always use in Ebertsheim,

“Tierärztin Daniela Gendrung-Schaffmeister”. That was when we got the bad news, our loving pet only had weeks more with us.

Our two weeks were up in Germany and we quickly moved on to the 2nd half of our journey, another 865 miles drive to Glasgow, stopping off at NASA Marine Ltd in Stevenage to drop off our instruments for repair. It was now time to catch up with my side of the family.

We had a great time at my mum’s 96th birthday party, but I had to work as well! We had to try to add a little to our dwindling funds, luckily, I´m a good Karaoke presenter, and not too bad a DJ so I had work most weekends. it´s now almost time to head back to the boat, (30/04/2024) We have sold most of our things we no longer need, and our beloved car is up for sale, we will now fly back to Portimao on the 8/05/2024 as we no longer have any pets so we no longer need to drive. We have booked with Ryan Air cattle class.
